FASTER Systems provides its software through a secure hosted environment using Windows Remote Desktop Services. Access to our environment is controlled via the Windows RDP Gateway which uses SSL encryption.
PC Requirements
FASTER Software can be accessed from any computer running Windows® or macOS.
Security
The user’s remote session is secured using SSL 256kb encryption with multi-factor authentication (MFA). Each client has their own database located on our servers with access controlled by a username and password. An application-based layer of security can also be added to assign specific database rights to different users.
Other Information
Databases are backed up on a nightly basis and stored at an off-site location for business continuity purposes.
Microsoft® Azure our hosting company, provides 24/7 round-the-clock support and monitoring of our servers. Servers are virtualized, so the hardware is redundant. This nearly eliminates downtime due to hardware problems.
